I was eager to visit Abbaye de Marmoutier, so I chose Hostellerie De L'Etoile for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the on-site bar, which allowed me to relax and enjoy some drinks after a long day of exploring.
Unimaginative breakfast, no wifi.

Great atmosphere with a family touch in a typical Alsace town. Half board includes quality buffet breakfast and dinner. Wonderful time for two nights thanks to attentive service. Will definitely return.

The staff was super chill and hooking us up with all the info we needed. We hit up Strasbourg and had a blast exploring the city. The location was epic, right in the heart of Wasselonne, and not too far from Strasbourg. Plus, the WiFi was on point for all our late-night Instagram updates!
The only thing that could've been better is if they had a sick party scene for us young peeps. Like, a cool rooftop bar or a banging nightclub nearby would've been the icing on the cake.

We stayed at Hostellerie De L'Etoile for two nights and had a wonderful time exploring the Alsace region. The hotel had a charming, historical touch and the restaurant served delicious local food with a French-style. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a family touch. The half board option included a quality buffet breakfast and a set dinner with attentive service. The parking was excellent and the staff spoke French, German, and English.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the value we got for our money at this hotel. The room was recently renovated and clean, and the location in a charming old French town was perfect for exploring. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for local wines and restaurants. a great place to stay, whether for a quick overnight stop or a longer vacation.
The breakfast option could have been improved by offering a wider variety of items. While the bread, cake, and drink were sufficient, it would have been nice to have more choices or some local specialties to try.

The rooms at Hostellerie de L'Etoile are great! They are so cozy and comfortable, and I loved how quiet they were. And the best part? The rooms have free Wi-Fi, so I could easily stay connected during my stay. As someone who values peace and relaxation, I felt right at home here.
Personally, I found the soundproofing a bit too effective. I understand it's meant to keep things quiet, but it felt a little too isolated for my taste.

Romantic atmosphere, perfect for a getaway. Comfortable and recently renovated rooms. The location is great, close to the Alsace Route des Vins and in a charming small town.
Limited breakfast options, no eggs or fresh produce. Communication with staff can be challenging for non-French speakers.
